Where on Google Earth #539

An end to the ping-pong game, Canada-Holland! Felix picked the ball for a new service.
The ball was caught at Burning Mountain, NSW in Australia where a coal seam has been burning for at least 5,500 years.

Find the next one, #539 and you 'll be the happy one to send the rest on a search!

Where on Google Earth #537

Again interesting knowledge gained thanks to Andrew, the answer to #536 took me to Medicin Lake in Canada where the Maligne River disappears underground.

The next one is a bit odd, have a nice search on this one!

By the way: Schott rule applied!

Where on Google Earth #535

WoGE #534 by Andrew Giles was not an easy search, a long hunt through the permafrost on the northern hemisphere. It ended up in the area of Lake Husky in the Northwest Territories of Canada where a valley is waiting to be flooded caused by a permafrost thaw.

The next one is up to you to find....

Where on Google Earth #533

On to the next one. Please don't think Andrew and I are conspiring. ;-) The search was relatively easy considering the line pattern of the rocks.

The next one does't look that dry and it isn't. I believe that the geological significance of my last contest was that significant. I know that the following is more significant. Good luck on your search!

Where on Google Earth #531

Welcome to my blog that I created for participating in the 'Where on Google Earth' game. This is the contest for location #531.

Find out where the location is and leave the exact position, give an indication of the geological significance of the area. In this case I guess I have to use Schott rule because I think it is fairly easy.

If you're the first with the correct answer you'll be the host to the next contest.
